SCP Foundation
SCP descriptions and adapted clues in Pokémon, Animal or SCP? are based on articles from the SCP Foundation Wiki and are used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 licence. Adapted SCP descriptions, including translations, are shared under the same licence. The linked source articles identify their individual authors and attribution history.
Pokémon and fantasy works
Pokémon names and characters belong to Nintendo, Creatures Inc. and GAME FREAK. Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts characters and settings belong to their respective rights holders, including J. K. Rowling and Warner Bros. Tolkien creatures and settings, Dungeons & Dragons creatures, and The Neverending Story characters remain the property of their respective rights holders. Pokémon, Animal or SCP? is an independent fan game and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.
Facts and sources
The questions and explanations in Real or Fake? are written by Griffin Games. Where a source is shown in the game, such as a Wikipedia article, it is linked and remains the property of its authors under its own licence.
Sound
All sound effects and music are released under CC0 1.0 / public domain dedications by their authors. Attribution is optional and given here as thanks.
- “Interface Sounds” by Kenney (kenney.nl), CC0, used in both games.
- “Win Jingle” by Fupi and “Victory Fanfare Short” by cynicmusic, CC0, from OpenGameArt.org, used in Real or Fake?.
- The soft “wrong answer” sound in Real or Fake? was synthesised for the game and is CC0.
Some files were converted between formats for size, and the personal-record celebration in Pokémon, Animal or SCP? repeats a clip with rising pitch.
Fonts
The site and games use the open-source typefaces Big Shoulders, Familjen Grotesk, Anybody, Hanken Grotesk, Spectral, Bricolage Grotesque, DM Sans and Noto Sans Devanagari, each licensed under the SIL Open Font License 1.1 by their respective designers and served through Google Fonts.
